At Kirkwood Early Learning Center, we take pride in our unique, open, and inviting environment designed to foster a sense of connection to all age groups. Our space is thoughtfully arranged, allowing children to see each other across different areas. This open layout encourages natural social interactions, promotes a sense of community, and helps children develop stronger relationships with their peers and caregivers. It also allows caregivers to help each other create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where both teachers and children feel safe, supported, and free to explore their interests.
Our Staff
We carefully select individuals who align with our values, bringing both experience and a genuine love for working with children, ensuring your little one is in the best hands. All staff are Delaware Department of Education certified. We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. In addition, our staff is trained in Infant/Child First Aid & CPR as well as certified to administer medication.
We are dedicated and committed to our children by providing exceptional education and quality childcare at an affordable price. It is our philosophy to focus on the needs of the individual child by providing a stimulating atmosphere for learning along with a secure loving environment. It is our belief that a childcare facility should be an extension of each child's family. Our teachers and parents are encouraged to work together to provide the love and support needed as your child reaches developmental milestones and his/her own personal achievements!
